His current research interests are in the area of pulmonary drug delivery with emphasis on dry powder inhaler formulation of therapeutic nanoparticles, antibiotic aerosol formulation to treat pulmonary biofilm infections, spray-drying and spray-freeze-drying productions of nano-scale solid dosage form, and modelling of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes.
